ERURS 10 Red Card Send Off
This page has been updated as of February 18/08.
So, you have sent someone off, good for you, and that’s unfortunate at the same time! For every one player you send off, there will be at least 15 others who will thank you. If the offending player does not want to play sportsmanlike, then he or she can go play elsewhere, and by themselves.
Here is the link to the Send-Off Form, a sample of Send-Off Report Sample, and the contact info of where to send it:
Mike Dowell, Rugby Alberta Director of Discipline for 2008 at mike@austinsecurity.ca
Or fax it in to Rugby Alberta at 422-5558.
Referee - talk to your Touch Judges if you didn’t get the number. To send a player off, get their name, position number, confirm it with the captain. You must complete a Referee Send-Off Report AND send it in to the Director of Discipline or the Rugby Alberta office immediately after the match, within 48 hours!!! Please & thank-you.
Touch Judges - if the referee does not approach you, approach them and quietly have a word. Also, if you were a Touch-Judge, and your experience or view of the incident helped to send the player off, you must fill out a report as well. Link is above, contact info above as well, within 48 hours of the match.
If you have a negative experience during your game, please contact the ERURS Executive by e-mail, or phone!!! We are here to listen & to support you.
